Imagine you're looking through a collection of short stories. One of the titles catches your interest. That's the story you want to read first. What might the title be? Invent a title that would make you want to read the story. Now, write a story to go with that title...

So I realise I haven’t done my day 3 of the 30 days of story inspiration. Today’s story is:
Imagine you're looking through a collection of short stories. One of the titles catches your interest. That's the story you want to read first. What might the title be? Invent a title that would make you want to read the story. Now, write a story to go with that title...
This is really hard! I think I’ll just write a silly story rather than a serious one! The title is inspired from my fiancé who has always said he wants to write a child’s story book based on this title.
There, there Jenni Bear.

A tiny kitten appears falls out of the basket on the rug by the fire. It’s soft, blonde fur is flat on one side where she’s been sleeping. Still half asleep, and in a bit of a daze, she bumps into the leg of a chair, and lets out a small yelp. “There, there Jenni Bear”.
Yawning, she walks over to the kitchen where her food and water bowls are. She chomps down her food so fast she gets the hiccups. She decides to take a drink from her water bowl. Lapping up her water, she suddenly has an enormous hic-cup, which sends her head first into her bowl. Like a shock of lightening, she takes her head out of the water and tries to shake it dry. “There, there Jenni Bear”.
Needing to dry her little, wet head, she runs over to the fire back in the lounge where her basket is, and lays on the rug. Feeling the warmth of the fire, and softness of the sheep skin rug, she soon falls asleep.
She is suddenly awakened with a sharp pain! Her owner’s toddler just stood on her tiny tail. With tears in her eyes, and a sigh, she lays her head back down. “There, there Jenni Bear”
That’s my little short story for day 3!
N.B. That gorgeous little kitten is not my own, unfortunately!
