31 Day Blog Challenge: Day 8 - What's in my Handbag?

As I'm sure many women do, I have a bit of a thing for handbags. I love them. I am always changing them.
But, lately, I've been sticking to one, which has been useful, because 9 times out of 10, I always leave something important behind when transferring the items from bag to bag.
Anyway, enough with the small talk, I'll just show you what's in my handbag:

1. Umbrella - been needing that recently due to all the awful weather lately
2. Purse
3. Little red diary
4. iPod and headphones
5. Sunglasses - only worn twice since I bought them (no sun!)
6. Make up bag
7. Staff oyster (bus pass)
8. Normal oyster (bus pass)
9. Mints
10. Staff pass
11. Old recites

So there you are, you nosey lot hehe!

31 Day Blog Challenge: Day 7 - My Pet Hates

I have so many (if a little too many) pet hates! But, I am very good at putting up with it. Unless it's my fiancĂ©, in which case I have no qualms in telling him that he is getting on my nerves!

1. Nail Biting - I just don't like that weird, horrible noise that some people make when they bite their nails. Some people don't make any noise, so I can put up with it, but others, oooh it gets under my skin! And the amount of germs that are underneath nails is not worth thinking about, when it goes into people's mouths! ew!

2. Joint clicking - knuckles, toes, neck, knees, ankles, wrists. Any part of the body that people click really gets on my nerves. It's just so un-necessary!

3. Snoring. Keeps me awake. If it's loud and stops me from sleeping, then I don't like it.

4. Sniffly noses. I wish people would blow their noses. I'm guilty of it too when I'm stuck without a tissue, so I do annoy myself!

I'm really don't moan about these, I am quite good at not saying anything! So don't think of me as a moany old woman!

31 Day Blog Challenge: Day 6 - 5 Senses Right Now

Now, I have to actually remember what these are for second (I kinda though there was 6? But that's me being really stupid!)

Ok, sooo:

1. Seeing - The gorgeous sunny weather outside, beautiful blue sky and the trees dancing merrily in the breeze.

2. Smelling - My freshly washed hair!

3. Hearing - the many sounds of the Xbox 360 game Halo: Reach; my fiancĂ© is playing it.

4. Tasting - minty toothpaste!

5. Touching (is that right!?) - my keyboard!

31 Day Blog Challenge: Day 4 - What are you afraid of?

What am I most afraid of? Well that's easy: being alone.
I have always feared having no friends or family, and I've always feared losing them. I know, sometimes, things happen and it's inevitable. But I'm so terrified of losing the ones I love.

31 Day Blog Challenge: Day 3 - Favourite Quote

Now, I'm always confused with these things. Is it a quote from me? From a friend? From a famous philosopher, or from a TV show?

I just don't know! I don't have one quote that sticks with me through life. I just, well, have a little saying that I always end up telling the recently single people:

"love will happen when you least expect it!"

I say this because I'm living proof! I was totally not expecting to meet the man I plan to marry in bloody school at the tender age of 15! I genuinely thought I was going to end up alone. I even remember talking to my mum about it late one night before the next school day, crying even, saying "I'm going to go to bars and pubs with my friends and I can just see myself sitting there all alone, while they're all off with men".
Ha, who knew what (or who) was around the corner!? Boy was I wrong!
